✨ Several improvements have been made to make your Optimize experience smoother and more informative:

• New columns have been added to the Optimize results table, providing extra context to help interpret your outcomes more efficiently.
• You can now work with inspiration sets containing up to 3,000 locations, offering more flexibility for your scenario testing.
• you can easily simulate the network of retailers or competitors directly from our datastore. This allows you to test new potential locations. More info can be found here.

Country-specific additions (Belgium only - but will be rolled out for other countries soon)

• We will add 2030 charging needs for slow, fast, and ultrafast car charging, as well as overnight truck charging.

Performance improvements

👉 Less blocking Optimize Module: When a batch calculation is in progress, it won't block users from running simulations. You can now easily navigate through other operational modules, except for data management.

New Optimize features for super users

⚡We developped a new type of project: Optimal characteristics, it allows you to test your charging stations with adjusted characteristics (such as pricing or amount of chargers) to measure the impacts on your network. Read here how to run such a project.

💡New inspiration datasets have been implemented, these sets provide a list of locations you can test to run a hotspot exercise:

• • Charge & Go sets, including parking areas with high car traffic and short local activity (<30 minutes).
  • Visit & Charge sets, including parking areas with higher local activity durations (30 minutes to 2 hours).

Other small enhancements

• The electric grid map layer is now more prominently displayed
• A new column in the Location performance module containing car kilometers per year
• Extra context information is added to the results table in the Optimize module.
